What is the Difference Between a Tester and a Self Tester?
While both Testers and a Self Testers are the individuals who are using the BACtrack breathalyzer to take a BAC test, the main difference between the two is that a Self-Tester does not have a Monitor assigned to their account (they are monitoring their own results). Because of this, a Self Tester has the ability to set and manage their own testing schedule, while a Tester does not.
A
Self-Tester can:
- Take Tests
- View, Set & Manage Schedules
- View Results
- Download Reports
- Pay for Billing
A Tester can:
- Take Tests
- View Schedules
- View Results
- Download Reports
- Pay for Billing
NOTE: If you are a Self-Tester, adding a Monitor to your account will automatically change your Role to Tester, meaning you will lose the ability to set and manage your own testing schedule. Adding an Accountability Partner has no effect on your Role.
