What is a Connection?

Connections

A Connection is either a Monitor or an Accountability Partner. The differences between the two Roles are outlined below. 

The number of Connections a Tester can have depends on the plan level that you choose:

  • Basic ($79.99/mo) - 1 Connection
  • Plus ($99.99/mo) - 3 Connections (any combination of Monitors and/or Accountability Partners)
  • Pro ($129.99/mo) - Unlimited Connections (any combination of Monitors and/or Accountability Partners)

Monitor

A Monitor has Admin rights over the Tester’s account. They set the testing schedule, are able to view test results and can optionally be in charge of the account billing. Depending on the plan level, a Tester can have multiple Monitors. 

In their BACtrack View account, a Monitor can:

  • Request On-Demand Tests 
  • Manage Testing Schedules
  • Receive SMS/Email Test Notifications*
  • View Test Results 
  • Download Reports 
  • Pay for Billing

Accountability Partner

An Accountability Partner has view-only access to the Tester's account. They help and encourage the Tester by keeping them accountable. They can only view the Tester’s results, but nothing else. They cannot set a schedule or be in charge of billing. Depending on the plan level, a Tester can have multiple Accountability Partners. 

In their BACtrack View account, an Accountability Partner can:

  • Receive SMS/Email Test Notifications* 
  • View Test Results 

*Not available on all plan levels
