Log In Troubleshooting for Android Users

If the phone or tablet you use with BACtrack View is an Android device and you receive the error message *Signature Expired, or have any issue logging in after an app update, please follow the instructions below:


  1. Uninstall and reinstall the BACtrack View app on your phone/tablet. Please click the following links for steps on this if needed:

  1. Click on the Settings app for your phone. The icon will appear as below:



  1. Click apps



  1. Scroll down until you locate View and click on it. It will not be listed under BACtrack View, so it will be towards the bottom of your app list.



  1. Click on Storage.



  1. Clear Cache and Clear Data (Storage) Please note that this will not delete any testing data or history.  Please make sure you clear BOTH. The issue will persist if you only clear cache.


  1. Go back and log into the BACtrack View app.


*This issue can occur on certain devices when there is an app update because different phone manufacturers manage cache differently. If a particular device caches the old version, this message can appear.
