How Often Should I Charge My Breathalyzer?

The BACtrack Mobile device should last for quite awhile on a single charge. Many customers can use it for hundreds of tests before it needs  to be charged.

The BACtrack View app will also display a Low Battery Warning when attempting to take a test if it needs to be charged.

For optimal charging, please use the provided Micro USB charger.

When charging, please make note of the following:

  1.  The back and front lights pulsing slowly = Battery Charging
  2. The back and front lights on very dimly= Battery is fully charged

The breathalyzer will successfully charge on all cable/charger blocks/outlets that we are aware of, but, if a charger with a charging current that is below 500mA is used, the charging light may not pulse. Please note that it is charging, but the LED may not show it.
